It’s that time of year again, PUMPKIN EVERYTHING. I mean it’s in full force, at least until Oct. 31(that’s when I decorate for Christmas here – no judgement!) My friend Nathalie and I thought what better way to usher in the DIY fall crafts than by making a fun pumpkin floral centerpiece! And we want you to do it too!
A pumpkin floral centerpiece is the perfect way to decorate your table or countertop for your entire fall season! This would also be PERFECT for Thanksgiving! I made mine and used it for my friends giving! This is an easy DIY and a really fun craft you could even do with your kids! It’s very budget friendly as well! It costs as much as you want it to! You can do this with flowers you find, grocery store florals, or the best of the best!
What you need:
Pumpkin
Your choice of greens and flowers
Floral trimmers(or good scissors)
Wet floral foam block
mini pumpkins + floral stick(optional)
This is so easy and fun! You really can not do this a wrong way! Be you and have fun!
DIRECTIONS
-You first want to soak your wet foam block for 5 minutes. You then will just gently push it directly on top of the pumpkin stem on the top of the pumpkin.
-You then take your trimmers or scissors and cut your greens and florals in the size stems you would like. You can also do this as you go! Some will be different sizes so you can have depth and dimension in your arrangement!
-Then gently start placing your greens in the foam block, and then fill in with your florals! You can make this arrangement as full as you would like! I made mine very fluffy and crazy! Nathalie’s is more uniformed which was GORGEOUS!
-To finish it off take you floral stick and place it inside the mini pumpkin! Then place mini pumpkin somewhere in your bouquet!
To keep your florals alive, spray with a water bottle daily, or take block off and soak in water!
